Don't Miss the Beaumont Avenue 4th of July Parade in Bird Rock

The 34th Annual Beaumont Avenue 4th of July Parade is Thursday at 10 a.m. at Camino de la Costa and Beaumont Avenue.

Start your Fourth of July out in La Jolla with a bit of history. Attend the 34th Annual Beaumont Ave 4th of July Parade in Bird Rock. This year's theme is Waves of Freedom.

Neighbors will dress and decorate in red, white and blue in this event focused on community.

Noël at Bird Rock Fab had these details:
  • Registration begins at 9:15 am at the SW corner of Camino de la Costa & Beaumont Avenue.
  • Family donation of $20 is requested.
  • Parade starts at 10 am at the SW corner of Camino de la Costa & Beaumont Avenue.
  • No motorized vehicles – keep your entry traveling under 1 mph
  • After party celebration at the cul-de-sac behind the LJ Methodist Church.
  • Judges will award the following prizes: 1st Place – Uncle Sam Award for the entry making the biggest impact. 2nd Place – The Silver Bowl for the entry with the most creative interpretation of the theme. 3rd Place – Best Runner-up entry ad 4th of July Spirit Award – The Murfey Cup for the best dressed house on Beaumont Avenue.
