Awful, Cheesy Horror Movies Made in La Jolla and San Diego County (VIDEO)

Cheesy but enjoyable horror movies made in La Jolla include "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" and "Tentacles."

San Diego Living sat down with Huffington Post Weird News reporter David Moye of La Mesa to hear some of his favorite cheesy horror movies made in San Diego.

Among movies on Moye's list are Crater Lake Monster, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (filmed at UC San Diego) and Tentacles (also filmed in La Jolla), a movie filmed in part at SeaWorld that includes a fight between a killer whale and a giant octopus.

"Attack of the Killer Tomatoes andAnchorman are probably the two films most associated with San Diego," Moye said.
