A graduate of SDSU and Grossmont College, he has written and created multimedia for a number of San Diego news outlets, including SDNN and KPBS. In his free time he plays music and experiments with a variety of creative endeavors. Your Beliefs "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy." I truly believe in that statement, and hope to tell the story of some of those things. I believe in living a rational, level-headed life, and treating others with honesty and respect. I went into journalism in order that knowledge and lines of communication would be opened. Politics I have a progressive-libertarian political bend, whatever that means. Basically, "Live and let live" with some necessary social systems in place. I am a registered Democrat, for the time being, but don't buy into either party's line. I base my politics solely on "realistic" cause and effect. Religion: Raised Catholic, currently spiritually agnostic. Very interested in spirituality, but certainly non-religious. Local Hot-Button Issues: The issues facing Santee right now are all based on expansion in some form or another. Las Colinas, suburban expansion, landfills, highways, population, you name it.
