Jomally Fernandez, Neighbor

Jomally Fernandez is a freelance journalist, based in San Diego since 2000. She is a contributing writer forLa Jolla Patch, as well as El Punto Es. Her work has also been published in El Nuevo Dia, endi.com andvidacool.com.

In addition, Jomally is a seasoned veteran with over 10 years of experience in the real estate business. Amongst many roles, she has worked as a notary, real estate agent, asset manager, valuation specialist and loan officer for such companies as GMAC, Atlas REO and Gary Kent RE/MAX.  <br><br>Born in Fort Knox, KY to a military family, she relocated in her youth to her parents homeland of Puerto Rico. There she grew up and attended school, finally obtaining a B.A. in Public Communications from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Precinct.

As an avid traveler, she also attended school in the Fundacion Ortega &amp; Gassett, in Toledo, Spain.  <br><br>In her spare time, Jomally likes to spend time with her dogs Mason and Nina at the park or the beach. She believes in the healing power of literature (Spanish or English!), art and photography. She loves to cook, walk, ride her beach cruiser and has been devoted to yoga for the past 10 years.
