The Preuss School - UCSD is a charter school located on the La Jolla campus of the University of California, SanMore Diego. The student body is highlighted by diverse, goal-oriented students who come from low-income families and aim to go on to and graduate from college.

The curriculum is challenging and more rigorous than California State requirements, with the intention of preparing students for college applications and ultimately, coursework. Students here have an expanded school year and longer school day — classes are in session for a total of seven hours, as opposed to the usual six.
