Scripps Institution of Oceanography

Scripps Institution of Oceanography is located on the La Jolla coast and features one of the oldest and largest centers for ocean and earth science research, education and public service in the world. This is also a graduate school of the University of California, San Diego. The Birch Aquarium is affiliated with this institution and features an aquarium and museum whose mission is to promote ocean conservation.
