La Jolla Playhouse

Founded in 1947 by Gregory Peck, Dorothy McGuire and Mel Ferrer, the La Jolla Playhouse was established to present plays, both classical and musical, for the community. Located on University of California at San Diego's campus, this nonprofit theater has received more than 300 local and national awards.
