Tap into what's brewing at Whole Foods Market's La Jolla, Del Mar

Summer is here, and what better way to celebrate the start of summer than kicking back, with a great local beer at your favorite local bar?

Starting at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2013 through Friday, May 31, head to Whole Foods Market’s La Jolla and Del Mar stores to do just that! Whole Foods Market is turning over their taps to local brewery, Ballast Point, to present 12 of their handcrafted beers. Whole Foods Market Hillcrest will also have a selection of six Ballast Point brews available on May 30 and 31.

Ballast Point will take over the taps at Whole Foods Market to serve up the perfect start to summer, featuring 12 handcrafted beers. These flavorful, refreshing home-brews inspired by summer days on the California coast include:
Fathom IPL
Dorado DIPA
Calico Copper Ale Nitro
Homework Series
Sculpin IPA
Longfin Lager
Habanero Sculpin
Reef Rye
Tongue Buckler Imp Red
Victory at Sea Imp Porter
Thai Chili Lime Wahoo
Pescadero Pils

Pair these brews with the delicious pizzas, sandwiches and other Whole Foods Market selections for a winning combination. Draft beer is available as a dine-in option only and must be enjoyed at the store bar. Seating at the bar will start at 11 a.m. each day, with no reservations required.   For additional information on the Tap Takeover event and Whole Foods Market, please visit www.wholefoodsmarket.com.
