The Junior Lifeguards are here. The San Diego Junior Lifeguard Program was in La Jolla yesterday. The group will learn how to enjoy the beach safely, ocean and wave education, water rescue techniques, first aid and CPR.
The crew will also develop their swimming skills, body surf, body board, surf, snorkel, stand-up paddle board, kayak and exercise.
Patch caught up with the San Diego Junior Lifeguard Program in as they were doing some exercises on dry land. The junior guards visit many parts of San Diego for lessons including , the , the Santa Clara Rec Center in Mission Beach and Ocean Beach.
