Gas Prices Fell 28 of the Past 29 Days in San Diego

While prices are higher in La Jolla than the county average, prices are significantly lower than one month ago.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County fell 2.2 cents Wednesday to $4.023, its lowest amount
since Feb. 17.

The average price has fallen 28 of the past 29 days, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The average price is 13.5 cents less than one week ago and 32.6 cents lower than one month ago, but 9.8 cents higher than one year ago.

In La Jolla, prices are bit higher than the county average though. The cheapest station is the Encon on Torrey Pines Road and La Jolla Shores Drive at $4.06 per gallon of regular gas. The most expensive title goes to two stations this week; the price per gallon at Mobil on La Jolla Village Drive near Interstate 5 and at the 76 Station on Pearl Street is $4.30 per gallon of regular.
