Seeing Double at the Pacific Coast Doubles Championships

La Jolla Country Day School and La Jolla High School athletes are competing in the annual tournament at La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club.

One of the oldest tennis tournaments in the world starts today at . The 122nd annual Pacific Coast Doubles Championship features the top men’s collegiate and independent tennis players including Daniel Faierman and Warren Wood of , and Ryan Rosen and Addison Appleby of .

Two teams are the top seeds in this year’s tournament: Bradley Klahn and Ryan Thacher of Stanford, and J.T. Sundling of USC and Jeff Tarango.

The tournament will run through Sunday.
