La Jolla Students Among Those Expected to Sign National Letters of Intent Next Week

Bishop's center Emani Littleton, La Jolla Country Day School's Sabrina Callahan and close to 100 other San Diego County high school athletes are expected to sign their National Letters of Intent on Nov. 13 at the San Diego County Hall of Champions.

Nearly 100 students including two La Jolla athletes are expected to sign National Letters of Intent on Nov. 13 in San Diego. The date signifies the start of the early signing period for high school students into college sports.

Bishop’s center Emani Littleton is expected to sign to St. John’s University and La Jolla Country Day School’s Sabrina Callahan to UC Santa Barbara.

The Signing Party will start at 8 a.m.

Athletes in boys and girls basketball, baseball, golf, lacrosse, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball, girls field hockey and girls water polo are eligible to sign and attend the Signing Party.

Last year athletes who attended the Signing Party combined to collect more than $15 million in scholarships, according to the San Diego Hall of Champions.
