While TV ratings are always high for the Farmers Insurance Open, because it falls on the open weekend between the AFC and NFC title games and the Super Bowl, ratings were even higher this year. First round coverage on the Golf Channel was up 66 percent over last year, the PGA reported, and Friday's second round coverage was up 90 percent over last year. In addition, Golf Channel's Lead-in Coverage on Saturday's third round was up 299 percent over last year, and the most of that day was delayed due to fog.
