The San Diego Chargers are warning fans to expect additional travel delays for Monday night's game due to rush-hour traffic.
The parking lot at Qualcomm Stadium will open at 1:40 p.m. for the 5:40 p.m. game against the Indianapolis Colts. Because the parking lot routinely fills early, fans are encouraged to carpool or use public transportation.
Fans taking the Trolley should board at least two hours before the game to avoid delays. Fans attempting to board trains after 3 p.m. should expect delays, particularly at stops closest to the stadium. By 4 p.m., most Trolley cars will be filled to capacity.
Traffic, Trolley and parking lot updates from the stadium will be available on Twitter at @chargersgameday.
The Chargers will honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month at today's game with pink decor, markings on the field and pink cleats, gloves and towels worn by the players.
