San Diego Enforcers Football Vs FDNY

In 1963, our very own San Diego Chargers hosted the AFL Championship Game and defeated the Boston Patriots 51-10 before 30,127 fans at Balboa Stadium.  Now almost 50 years later, Championship football returns to this historic stadium, as the San Diego Enforcers take on the FDNY Bravest (New York Fire Department) Saturday, June 23rd at 4:00 PM.  Tickets are just $5.00 and children 12 and under get free.

The San Diego Enforcers, a 501 (c) 3 organization, are law enforcement, firefighter and public safety personnel who play tackle football for charity.  Proud members of the National Public Safety Football League, the San Diego Enforcers are one of 27 teams who compete every season for the opportunity to play for a Championship.  The Enforcers are undefeated but they face their toughest opponent this season, FDNY (3-1).  FDNY defeated the San Diego Enforcers just two seasons ago knocking them out of Championship contention.

I encourage you to come and see what Enforcer football is all about!  If you can't make it, we are asking that you please spread the word because this game isn't just about a rematch or a Championship, we are also raising money for United Cerebral Palsy, our chosen charity for the 2012 Season.
