San Diego Center for Children Annual "Walk for Kids"

San Diego, CA – The San Diego Center for Children will hold its annual Walk for Kids on Saturday, November 3, on scenic Mission Bay, starting at 7 a.m. A fundraising event to benefit the San Diego Center for Children, and co-chaired by Jim Avery and Susie Sides, the Walk for Kids is a fun, family-friendly celebration, bringing together the children at the Center and supporters from the community for a 5K walk around Mission Bay.  This year’s Walk is the culminating celebration for the Center’s 125th year anniversary. Co-title sponsors of this year’s Walk are SDG&E and PAR Electrical.

Attendees can walk or run around the Mission Bay boardwalk and join the post-walk festivities including an interactive Vendor Village, skateboard demo, Kids Play Zone featuring Kid Ventures, face painting, balloon artists and more.

All walkers take home a free T-shirt souvenir as a thank you for helping us reach our goal of $125,000 that support the programs and services for the children and teens at the Center.
