Birch Aquarium Presents: Boundless Energy

 ,   Add to calendar
 La Jolla  See map

The new interactive exhibit at the aquarium will showcase innovative ways to use renewable energy from the sun, wind and ocean.

Kids and adults alike can learn about and explore renewable energy with hands-on activities, like powering a mechanical fish with solar energy and creating green energy out of the blue at wave tanks and water tables.

A kinectic water sculpture is powered by kids at play.

The Boundless Energy exhibit is an extension of the aquarium's "Feeling the Heat: The Climate Challenge" exhibit and will run through 2016.
