18th annual Bruce Gorder UCSD 5K Walk for Melanoma

The 18th annual Bruce Gorder UCSD 5K Walk for Melanoma is Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011

Where: Moores UCSD Cancer Center
When: Registration begins at 8 a.m., event lasts until 11:30 a.m.

Free skin screenings are available to registered participants. 

Beginning and ending at the UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center, this fun-filled event is the only walk in San Diego to raise funds exclusively for melanoma. Form a team and help raise money for melanoma programs and research at the Cancer Center. 

The comfortable walk features the famous UCSD environmental art collection. 10News Anchor Bill Griffith, male breast cancer and melanoma survivor, will again be our event emcee. To date, the walk has raised more than $1.2 million to support this area of research. Together, we will walk for a cure! See our event brochure for more information.
