Chargers' Preseason Opener to Be Televised Locally

The 5 p.m. game between the Bolts and Seattle Seahawks can be viewed locally on ESPN and Channel 8.

The Chargers announced late Tuesday afternoon that enough tickets have been sold to lift the local television blackout on Thursday’s preseason game between the Chargers and Seattle Seahawks at Qualcomm Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for shortly after 5 p.m.

The game will be televised live on ESPN and also on San Diego's KFMB-Channel 8. Mike Tirico, Ron Jaworski and Jon Gruden will call the game.

The radio broadcast can be heard in San Diego on KIOZ Rock 105.3 FM and XTRA Sports 1360 AM. Josh Lewin and Hank Bauer call the action. The game will be broadcast in Spanish on Pulsar 107.3 FM.

General admission seats as well as club seats are still available at the Chargers’ ticket office at Gate C at Qualcomm Stadium. They also can be purchased at Chargers.com or by calling 800-745-3000. The ticket office at Qualcomm Stadium is open weekdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
