Bishop's Eliminated in Girls Soccer, Hoop Regionals

The Knights can't take advantage of playing at home and fall in the Southern California Regionals.

The home-field advantage didn't help The Bishop's School's girls soccer and basketball teams on Thursday. Both fell to Los Angeles-area schools in the Southern California Regionals.

Third-seeded Oaks Christian (25-2-1) of Westlake blanked the second-seeded Knights (14-5) on the soccer pitch 3-0, winning its 19th straight game in a SoCal Division III semifinal behind three second-half goals by Ally Courtnall.

On the basketball court, Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies (LACES), the sixth seed, scored a 52-47 victory over the third-seeded Knights in a Division IV quarterfinal game, despite 18 points by Alissa Camapnero and 14 by Devon Roeper.
