60 La Jollans Complete the Full Rock 'N' Roll Marathon
More than 25,000 athletes ran the full or half marathon on Sunday in San Diego.
Thousands of runners completed the full and half Rock 'n' Roll Marathon in San Diego on Sunday. The annual race gave runners a scenic view of some of San Diego's finest attractions including Balboa Park, Mission Bay and Fiesta Island.
The top male, Terfa Negari, finished in 2:11:15 or a pace of roughly 5 minutes per mile. The top female, Buzunesh Deba, finished in 2:23:31.
More than 8,267 runners completed the full 26.2 mile course, another 17,152 the half marathon, eight the full marathon in wheelchair and another 295 teams of two the relay.

A total of 60 La Jollans went the distance on Sunday and completed the full marathon.
