La Jolla YMCA Hosting Camps for Students While Schools Closed for Presidents Day
Public schools in La Jolla will be closed on Friday and Monday in honor of Presidents Lincoln and Washington, but the YMCA can help entertain your kids while your at work.
Bird Rock Elementary, La Jolla Elementary, La Jolla High, Muirlands Middle and Torrey Pines Elementary schools will be closed Friday, Feb. 17 and Monday, Feb. 20 for Presidents Day.
If you can't stay home with the kids and you can't take them to work, you can always send them to the Y. The La Jolla YMCA is hosting camps for children aged 5 to 12 on Friday and Monday. While you work, your kids could be tumbling in gymnastics, bowling or taking a supervised trip to Boomers.
The camps are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Prices range from $10 to $45 for members and $15 to $55 for non-members per child per camp.
