The La Jolla Festival of the Arts brought together more than 190 award-winning artists in one of the most prestigious juried art shows in the country. The weekend-long event is produced by the Torrey Pines Kiwanis, a non-profit organization that raises funds to support adaptive sports and recreation programs for San Diegans with disabilities. This year’s festival will also benefits Sharp Rehabilitation Services, which helps those who have incurred serious and long term injuries.
Ready to appreciate some art while helping out those in need of rehabilitation? The La Jolla Festival of the Arts takes place on June 23 and 24 at UC San Diego's Warren Field. Saturday hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tickets are $14 at the gate. Anyone attending who is 16 and younger can get in free.
