Editor's Note: La Jolla Country Day School released the following event announcement.

La Jolla Country Day School's Upper School Drama and Music Departments are proud to present Frank Loesser’s “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,” this Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1 and 2 at 7 p.m. as well as a Saturday matinee at 2 p.m.

This classic American musical comedy follows the meteoric rise of J. Pierpont Finch from window washer to CEO, using only a self-help book, some ingenuity, and a little help from his secretary, Rosemary.

This delightful mid-century romp reveals the lighter side of “Mad Men” office politics with numbers such as “A Secretary is not a Toy” and “The Company Way.”

The acting ensemble includes Lauren Anderson, Tannah Boyd, Natalie Boyer, Adrian Brown, Matthew Buccholz, Carrisa Chang, Emigdio Gomez, Brendon Grepo, Jill Ingebritsen, Chris Kato, George Little, Griffin Osborne, Ciara Paradise, Paulina Perez-Curiel, Zoe Peritz, Malik Power, Alex Roesler, Gabrielle Stryker, Sarah Wermers Brittany Williams, and Jasjit Williams-Singh.

There will also be a few “special guests” from the LJCDS community appearing in selected scenes!

The production will be presented in the Four Flowers Theater.
