The deadline to register to vote and the deadline to register to vote by mail ballot are upon on.
Monday is the deadline to register to vote. San Diego County residents can fill out a registration form at sdvote.com, print it, sign it and mail it to the Registrar’s office. The forms are also available at the Registrar of Voters office, Ctiy Clerk office downtown, the Department of Motor Vehicles and in La Jolla at the Post Office on Wall Street and the library on Draper Avenue. All forms must be postmarked or delivered no later than 8 p.m. on Monday.

“If you’ve moved recently, changed your name or your party preference you’ll need to fill out a new registration form,” said Deborah Seiler, Registrar of Voters in an email to Patch on Monday morning. “If you go online, the process is quick, easy and convenient.”
Spencer Finch Art at MCASD
May 30 is the last day to visit the in La Jolla to see Spencer Finch’s light-based installations bridge called Rome. The local art museum said, Finch evokes ancient Rome with a reference to architecture of the Italian Pantheon with his piece.
“Within MCA’s Axline Court, Finch will recall the circular oculus of the Pantheon’s expansive dome. Finch intends to fashion a massive scrim-covered lens to filter the light of the Robert Venturi-designed lantern. This translucent disc will counter not only Venturi’s exuberant architecture, but will translate the California sunshine into the quality of light found at the Roman landmark,” MCASD explains on its web site.
