Come out to Muirlands Middle School at 1056 Nautilus St. in La Jolla on Feb. 24 at 4:30 p.m. to see Miss Representation.
The film, which explores how media represents women, will be followed by a panel discussion with psychologists and educators.
The event is open to the public. Tickets are $5.
The documentary Miss Representation premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and aired on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.
