Science Club for Girls at the Fleet Science Center

On the second Saturday of each month, girls in the 5th-8th grades can investigate exciting science topics, hosted by local women scientists. Sessions include looks at chemistry, engineering, environmental science, physics, robotics and more.

Upcoming sessions: April, a look at instruments, with help in creating one; May, go to the center's Challenger Learning Center for an imaginary escapade to the moon; June, designing and testing a rollercoaster while examining the physics of theme-park rides, and in July, the technology behind gadget-building.

Admission: $10-$12. Reservations required one day before session.
