Come have some cheese with your wine...er, beer at the La Valencia Hotel.
Participants will enjoy the pairing at the hotel's Whaling Bar & Grill. Hosted by La Valencia’s Resident Beer Cicerone, Tanya Schmidt, this interactive class will teach the art of pairing artisanal cheeses with locally crafted beer. Featured pairings include House Made Pretzel Bites with Woodie Gold Pilsner, Red Dragon Mustard Seed and Welsh Brown Ale Cheddar Cheese with Tilburg’s Dutch Brown Ale, Cahill’s Porter Cheese with 8 Ball Stout, Triple Cream Brie with Dogfish Apricot Beer and lastly, Rogue Caveman Bleu with North Coast Old Stock Ale.
