Parents are invited to attend a GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) informational meeting with Marcia DiJiosia, Director of Advanced Studies for the district on May 3 in the LJES auditorium.
DiJosia will discuss what it means to be GATE, and will cover how GATE is implemented in schools (e.g. GATE seminar, GATE Cluster).
Although this meeting is especially applicable to 2nd grade parents and new LJES families, all interested parents are welcome.
Child care will be provided.
