Bishop's Girls Water Polo Wins CIF Division III Championship over Rivals LJHS [Gallery]

The Bishop's School girls water polo team won the CIF Division III Championship title on Saturday 13-5 against La Jolla High School.

Two high schools in La Jolla battled it out at Coggan Aquatic Center for the CIF Division III girls water polo championships on Saturday. And The Bishop's School won 13-5 against La Jolla High School.

Bishop's Hannah Carrillo lead her team in goals with four, followed by Jessica Webster and Jill Bushman with three each, Natalie Chun with two and Sheila Gerrity with one.

On LJHS's team Taylor Bertrand scored three goals and Scarlett Hallahan and Claire Andrews each one.

Bishops advanced past Cathedral Catholic in the semifinals on Feb. 19 and LJHS past Coronado, two great teams.
