The Sunday night weather forecast for Clairemont is calling for eight tons of snow.
The Canyon View Church of Christ, 4292 Balboa Ave., San Diego, is inviting the community to enjoy a free “Winter Wonderland” from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15, at its church campus.

Activities will include eight tons of snow for playing, sledding on saucers and making “snow angels” and a living Nativity scene with live animals, including a donkey, goat, two chickens, two sheep and an alpaca.

Additional activities will include free hot cocoa, cookies, candy canes, Christmas caroling and a reading of the Christmas story every 30 minutes.
Admission and parking is free.
“This is the church’s Christmas gift to the community,” said Jim Hinton, spiritual formation minister, Canyon View Church of Christ.
