Church of Christ will mark 20-year anniversary of merger on Sunday, April 14

The Canyon View Church of Christ, 4292 Balboa Ave., San Diego, will host a special 20-year anniversary service starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday, April 14. The church was formed in April 1993, following the merger of the Pacific Beach Church of Christ, which began meeting in 1946, and the Clairemont Church of Christ, which began meeting in 1958. The 20-year anniversary service on April 14 will feature Bible lessons from Mike Mazzalongo and Edsel Hughes, one of the church’s previous preachers and elders, respectively.
