La Jolla Firm Purchases $21.5M Retail Plaza in Coronado

A La Jolla firm recently purchased Coronado Plaza for $21.5 million, according to San Diego Daily Transcript. The plaza is a three-story mixed-use building on the 1300 block of Orange Avenue in Coronado.

SCP Coronado LLC sold the near 50,000 square feet building which encompasses an entire city block across the street from the Hotel del Coronado.

A $12.9 million loan from RBS Financial Products helped finance the sale to PREF Coronado Plaza LLC.

Current tenants include Yummy Sushi, Vigilucci's Ristorante Coronado, Subway, Island Birkenstock, Lavender Flower Day Spa and other businesses.
