David Copley's La Jolla Home Lists for $7.95M [Photos]

La Jollan David Copley died Nov. 20, 2012 at the age of 60. His house is being sold.

The home of the late David Copley listed for sale in La Jolla last week. Copley was the former owner and publisher of The San Diego Union-Tribune.

The listing describes it best: "The fascinating eclectic mix of structures includes grand formal rooms with high ceilings, ornate mouldings with ceiling medallions and chandeliers, salons with wood paneling and spectacular fireplaces, an enclosed tropical patio with whimsically-appointed veranda party room/guest suite with bar, and an incredible, huge entertainment wing with phenomenal high, open-beam ceilings designed for entertaining on a very large scale, complete with long, professional bar and expansive living, (and/or dancing!) ballroom opening to pool courtyard."
