Readers Choice: Bird Rock Surf Top Surf Shop in La Jolla

Locals selected a winner! Bird Rock Surf Shop was selected as La Jolla's Best Surf Shop.

Earlier this year, Bird Rock Surf was nominated for a SIMA Image Award in the Breakthrough Retailer of the Year category.

Bird Rock Surf Shop has new, used and rental surfboards. They do repairs. They have a full line of mens, women and children's clothing. They even have one of the coolest dogs in La Jolla.

Bird Rock Surf fought ,  and for the top honor.

Coming in second was Mitch's on Pearl. The shop, which opened in 1967, has apparel, surboards, wetsuits, footwear, watches and skateboards.
