A UC San Diego engineering student is claiming that he was locked in a Drug Enforcement Administration cell for five days without food or water, according to U-T San Diego.
Daniel Chong says he was arrested during a raid on April 21 and was then locked into a cell at the DEA Kearny Mesa Facility. During a Tuesday press conference with his lawyer, Chong said he was forced to spend another five days in a hospital to recover from the treatment, according to the newspaper.
