La Jolla's Children's Pool attracts more than tourists; it is a popular destination for harbor seals during pupping season.
No matter where you stand on use of the Children's Pool in La Jolla, you can't argue that the seals draw a lot of admirers during their pupping season, which typically runs December through May. During the winter months you can see them sunning themselves on the sands, playing in the waters and drawing a crowd on land.
