President Barack Obama visited La Jolla on Monday afternoon to attend a private, $5,000-per-person re-election fundraiser at the home of Elizabeth and Mason Phelps in the Muirlands neighborhood.

President Barack Obama was in town Monday afternoon to raise campaign funds. Donors paid $5,000 to $38,500 to attend a luncheon fundraiser at the home of Elizabeth and Mason Phelps in La Jolla.

Obama last visited San Diego for a fundraising event at on Feb. 18, 2007.
