La Jollan Irwin Jacobs donated $2 million to super PAC Priorities USA Action, according to the San Diego Reader.

Jacobs, who founded Qualcomm, and wife Joan made the donation to the PAC that supports President Barack Obama for re-election, according to the Reader.

The super PAC has earned $40 million, according to the Reader.
