Lightner Shares News From Distict 1

Council member Sherri Lightner recently released the November issue of "The SpotLight," District 1's monthly newsletter.

Every month San Diego Councilwoman Sherri Lightner publishes The SpotLight, a newsletter for District 1 residents. This month's highlights include an update on the large sinkhole that opened on Campus Point Drive in UTC last month, the city's new comprehensive water policy that passed on Oct. 17, and partnerships with Toyota and Sprint that are saving the city thousands of dollars.

The Toyota deal will provide 34 new vehicles for San Diego Lifeguards for up to four years and will save the City as much as $245,000 that it would have otherwise spent on buying new vehicles, said Lightner's office.
