La Jollan Scott Peters Opens Campaign Headquarters

San Diego Port Commissioner Scott Peters, a candidate for the 52nd Congressional District, opened a campaign office in Clairemont Mesa on Friday.

San Diego Port Commissioner Scott Peters, a La Jollan and candidate for the new 52nd Congressional District, joined Assembly members Toni Atkins and Ben Hueso, City Councilman Todd Gloria and former Assembly members Howard Wayne and Mary Salas to open a campaign office on Friday.

Peters is one of several candidate vying for the seat in District 52, which includes La Jolla, Coronado and Poway. Brian Bilbray, Wayne Iverson, Lori Saldana and John Stahl have also entered the race.
