La Jolla Country Day Students Travel to DC for Inauguration [Gallery]

La Jolla Country Day Schools' advanced placement government class attended the second inauguration of President Barack Obama in Washington, D.C. on Monday.

An estimated 800,000 attended the second inauguration of President Barack Obama on Monday, including a few students from La Jolla Country Day School.

Students arrived Saturday morning and visted Arlington National Cemetery, the White House, the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts and several other national stops. The students also attended the inauguration on Monday and were scheduled to visit with San Diego Congress members.
