The project, proposed by San Diego-based architect Jonathan Segal, is that of a two-story residence with a two-car garage, basement, and rooftop solar panels.  After brief discussion of the project and its impact to neighbors who were in attendance of the meeting, the committee voted 7-0 in approval with one committee member in abstention.
  • The committee opened dialogue regarding how they could help assisting the expedition of projects.  The primary item of discussion surrounded the re-adoption of a previously distributed letter consisting of a "check list" for applicants. The letter allows applicants to self check if they are prepared before having their permit request placed on the agenda. Those points included design compliance, correspondence with neighbors regarding the project, and appropriately prepared presentation items.  The matter will be re-discussed at the next committee meeting on July 19.
