DeMaio and Filner Will Square Off at Debate at La Valencia

Mayoral candidates Carl DeMaio and Bob Filner will go head to head Tuesday two times. Two mayoral debates are scheduled for Sept. 4.

The three day weekend is behind us and fall politics are about to heat up for the November election - just two months away now.

Two mayoral debates are scheduled for Tuesday between Councilman Carl DeMaio and Rep. Bob Filner, D-San Diego.

The first debate is at noon at  in La Jolla. The debate is hosted by the La Jolla Rotary Club. La Valencia is located at 1132 Prospect St., La Jolla, CA 92037.

The second debate is at 7:15 p.m. at RDO Equipment, 10108 Riverford Rd., Lakeside. This debate is hosted by the Associated General Contractors.
