Democrat Toni Atkins easily won a second term in the State Assembly on Tuesday.
Atkins, who has served in the Assembly since 2010, led Republican Ralph Denney 62 percent to 38 percent.
Atkins' new district includes Imperial Beach, Coronado, La Jolla and Del Mar-Carmel Valley.
She joins the Legislature alongside Rocky Chavez in the 76th Assembly District, Brian Maienschein in the 77th Assembly District and Shirley Weber in the 79th Assembly District.
