Woman Stole Cash from Elderly at CVS in La Jolla
Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
San Diego County Crime Stoppers and San Diego Police Department’s Northern Division are asking the public to help identify and locate an unknown female suspect wanted for grand theft.
Detectives said at approximately 2:30 p.m., Dec. 2, 2013, an elderly female purchased items from the CVS at the corner of Eads Avenue and Pearl Street in La Jolla. The elderly woman paid for the items with cash from an envelope, but accidently left the envelope on the cashier’s counter and left the store.
Once outside, the elderly female realized she left her money on the counter and went back inside to retrieve it.

However in the minutes she was gone, an unknown female who was behind her in line at the checkout, saw the victim leave the envelope behind, took it and left the store. She was last seen leaving the store on foot.
