San Diego Fire-Rescue and Lifeguards Make Rescue Above Blacks' Beach

One person was rescued Monday evening from the cliffs near the Torrey Pines Gliderport.

It was a busy day for San Diego lifeguards. Shortly after the  off La Jolla Shores, lifeguards and Fire-Rescue members responded for a rescue above Black's Beach near Torrey Pines Gliderport on Monday afternoon.

The individual was rescued at approximately 6:50 p.m. and reportedly had no injuries.

Officials had a difficult time communicating with the individual because of the rescue helicopter overhead.
