A robber used a demand note to rob the Chase Bank of the 8800 block of Villa La Jolla on Friday afternoon.
San Diego Police said a black male used a demand note to rob the bank at 12:24 p.m. and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Sgt. Ray Battrick said witnesses saw him go into a nearby business.
Mohamed Hassan, 21, was arrested and identified by witnesses shortly after the incident.
No one was hurt, police said.
