Rigoberto's Robbed Again, the Latest in String of SD Taco Shop Heists
La Jolla's two Rigoberto outlets have been targeted three times in less than two months, part of a string of about a dozen robberies.
A La Jolla taco shop that was robbed early last month was hit again early Sunday, and one of two in San Diego that was targeted in one night.
The Rigoberto's in the 6990 La Jolla Blvd. was approached by armed robbers before 2:30 a.m. Sunday, according to CBS8.com.
Another La Jolla Rigoberto's was robbed in late June.
El Cotixan in Clairemont also was robbed Sunday, police said.
According to the report there have been about a dozen related robberies all over San Diego, in a diverse selection of neighborhoods including Ocean Beach, Rancho Bernardo and Tierrasanta.
The suspects have been seen fleeing in a dark sedan, according to the report.
