Police Blotter: Sept. 25–Oct. 1

San Diego police homicide dectectives reported a shot on a sidewalk on Sept. 28. The body was found on the 8600 block of La Jolla Scenic Drive, across the street from the Adat Yeshurun synagogue. The victim was identified, but his name was held pending complete family notification.

An area resident reported hearing gunfire at 11:36 p.m., said San Diego police, and a patrol officer who went to investigate found the body of a 68-year-old male shot several times.
